| SESI manufactures the Common Control Section on Harpoon and Slam missiles. |
SESI manufactures and tests the Common Control Section used on the Boeing Harpoon and SLAM missiles. The Common Control Section is the aft section of the missile airframe, which actuates the flight control fins. SESI’s effort includes the procurement of all materials, including the 128-lb aluminum forging, the machining and assembly of all mechanical parts, the integration and final testing of the cable and actuator control assemblies, followed by the final ATP test of the completed control section. This cruise class missile program requires 100% traceability of all parts.
